Domestic Violence and Child Protection is an area that Marguerite has experience in both initiating and defending clients. Marguerite also has extensive knowledge in Advance Personal Plans, Wills, Power of Attorney, Probates/Letters of Administration, and Conveyancing.

During Marguerite’s 39 years living in Darwin Marguerite has gained an understanding of the challenges that come with living in the Northern Territory and remote areas. Marguerite has gained a significant understanding of multicultural and indigenous issues, given her background, serving on a committee of Multicultural Council, Women advisory Council, working at the Don Dale Juvenile Detention Centre as a youth worker, and with indigenous clients in areas such as family, domestic violence and child protection.

Volunteering as an advisor / supervisor with the Darwin Community Legal Service (DCLS) since 1996 until 2019 and providing legal assistance through Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission (NTLAC) has given Marguerite the opportunity to assist those in most need where their financial capacity is at the minimum.
